About us ?

The Instituto Argentino para el Desarrollo Sustentable (IADS for it Spanish abbreviation) is a non-governmental and non- profit organization, created in 2007 formed by professionals of different areas of knowledge, like economics, engineering, biology, politics sciences and law, specialized and with extensive experience in environmental topics and in sustainable development.

Los proyectos y actividades que desarrollan se orientan a la generación de propuestas y acciones que tiendan a mejorar la sustentabilidad de los sectores gubernamental, productivo y de la sociedad civil, promoviendo asimismo la modificación de los patrones de consumo actuales. Considerando un aspecto importante el rol del Estado, participan profesionales y especialistas en políticas públicas para el desarrollo sustentable.

The projects and activities that are developed are oriented to the generation of proposals and actions that lean to improve the sustainability of government and production sectors and civil society, promoting as well the modification of current consumption patterns. Considering the State’s role an important aspect, professionals and specialists in public politics for sustainable development participate.

It is an interdisciplinary space where the different lines of work proposed answer to plural needs, with the objective of becoming a referent in discussions and decision making spheres.
